Boom! Just Boom!

It’s happened Audiobookophiles, Blue Skies and Blueberry Pies, the controversial new Audiobook from avant-garde young talkthors Ruthie Luff and Oliver Wallace has finally struggled past the red tape of audiobook convention and is finally seeing release. We at Blun House are incredibly humbled to say that it is happening right here at BHP.

Now, for some of the stuffy old guard this has been called the worst moment in Audiobook history but for those of us racing ahead into the new media millennium with their eyes peeled wide open for the kind of game changing new thinking that is going to change the whole Audiobook game this is only the beginning!

Literally! Not only does this genre-bending Audiobook deftly deploy such moves as “sound effect chapter titles” and a “theme song” but, not content there, the talkthors have chosen to take yet another zeitgeist transcending decision. They will be joining the hallowed ranks of such great media heroes as Lars von Trier and Quentin Tarantino and splitting the Audiobook into two parts!

The first part released now is a mind expending new media adventure that leaps forward into the New Media Millennium in a nonstop whirlwind of new paradigms. And yet it pulls this off with such panache that it also manages to be a soothing and empowering influence over mind, body and soul, at once challenging and enriching, on one hand invigorating and and on the other enlivening.

With a first part this good we simply can’t wait for part 2, and nor can you! But for now, Audiobookophiles, put on you earphones, sit back and enjoy!

O.K. Audiobookophiles, make sure you are currently seated in a suitably sturdy seating situation because we here at Blun House have a genuinely sock-knocking exclusive reveal for you which you will want to be sitting down for. We have just secured the publishing rights to a project which we think is going to change the face of the whole audiobook landscape – possibly for years to come. But lets start at the beginning.

It all started when long standing stalwart of the talkthor scene Oliver Wallace met with the feisty and unconventional newcomer Ruthie Luff over a big slice of new “fringe theater”. In such a hot-bed of creative experimentation they inevitably fell to discussing some of the wilder ideas currently circulating in the more out there talkthor circles which totally fly in the face of stuffy orthodox ideas about the scope of the brand new media form of the audiobook. Right there and then they scratched up a hair-raising free-improv audiobook that in one fell swoop proves that the introduction of such avaunt-guard moves as “sound effect chapter titles” and “theme songs” can be handled with a deft, earthy elegance. There are even rumors that the audiobook isn’t even from one identifiable genre…

Now some of the traditionalists out there may have their gripes about the unconventional nature of this latest soon to be released offering but we here at Blun House have always been proud to stand at the forefront of the rolling wave of progress and proudly take a stand with game-changing talkthors willing to take a gamble on staying ahead of the curve. We believe that we have something really special on our hands here.

This project is as you can well imagine, a red hot piece of audiobook controversy and so for now we are keeping even the title a closely guarded secret but watch this space for more exclusive news about what promises to be the most controversial new release this year!

Big news audiobookophiles and we thought you deserved to be the first to hear: We are now findable on the iTunes podcast platform!

We at Blun House are proud to anounce that iTunes (the famous Apple audiobook and podcast platform) has given the BHP podcast the green flag of approval to state that they approve of people downloading our free podcast direct from iTunes onto their MP3 player of their choice!

This means that you can now just open up the iTunes store directly and search for us there using such terms as “BHP podcast” or “Blun House Publishing” or using the name of our first audiobook recording “Different Drinks“!
